Golden Buds "TIME THEFT" loose leaf

Our TIME THEFT cake was one of the first items listed on this site way back when, and after months of travelling in circles I received this, the same golden buds but in loose leaf form.

I had always loved this tea, especially since Yunnan black teas were my first introduction to the tea game. This example exudes a wonderfully malty and earthy sweet potato aroma before brewing and a rich, viscous soup after brewing. It is a wholesome, warming tea that serves as a daily drinker for any situation.

It is one of those wonderfully produced black teas that doesn't get bitter if you oversteep by a few seconds, and when brewed as an iced tea is so crisp and refreshing while still retaining the complexity that makes this tea a crowd-pleaser.
