Bai Lin Gong Fu "MONKEY PILOT"

This Bai Lin Gong Fu (also called golden monkey) is a new addition to our black/red tea lineup. One of the packages that seemingly floated east from China to Vancouver, this tea was more than worth the wait.

Harvested at 550m in Ningde, Fujian, this tea consists of tiny little delicate leaves that would otherwise have been made into a white tea. It is malty with a bit of woody tones, like if you were to leave a fresh bouquet of flowers in a cherry wood panelled room.

I'm happy with this myself, and think it a good daily drinker. I'd like to offer other examples of this one in the shop since it is quite popular, but for now I think this is a good start.
