A wonderful choice for any fan of dancong oolongs or those looking to experience the unique nature of these teas at a black tea-like price point.

This example has the same fruity backbone with what someone once described as a buttery undertone. I think that put a finger on something I couldn't quite reach — it is really that smooth. Brews up a gorgeous pale soup that is good for any occasion. Like pricier examples this one lingers on the tongue long after your cup is empty.

I just paired it with almonds and chocolate chips, the sweetness of which bypassed the sweet nature of the stone fruit emphasis of this tea to reveal hidden notes beyond the veil. Give that a shot if you haven't.
